Hello, and thank you for visiting my portfolio.  I am a recent graduate of Carnegie Mellon’s Masters of Educational Technology and Applied Learning Science.

I am passionate about applying UX Research and Design to Education, thereby creating tools that are more likely to be adopted, and empowering learners and educators with tools and techniques that leverage evidence-based practices such as those from my favorite book The ABCs of How We Learn.

I am actively looking for FT/PT/consulting positions, and interested in all of these roles: instructional design, curriculum design, product design, user research or customer success.  I love helping people learn, working on cross-functional teams and learning/improving my skills.

Some of the topics I am especially interested in are: communication, listening, confidence, design competencies, teaching skills, classroom management, and mindfulness.  That said, I am open to all possibilities!

Please feel free to be in touch.  You can contact me at roger.e.strang@gmail.com.  I look forward to hearing from you!
